"My artistic work focuses on exploring the possibilities of form through geometry, which reflects my vision of the universe. During my degree at the Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle I began to investigate the role of mathematics and geometry in relation to all existence.
The universe and everything in it and its substance contains mathematics. When we abstract, for example, a thing, we end up retaining only its symbolism. As amazing and complex as the universe in which we exist is, it can ultimately be explained to us through numbers. As it turns out, it also turns out that everything follows a pattern or modularity that can be reduced to its reason and consequence.
Humans are only a part of this cosmic equation and we carry within us the same pattern that describes everything. For example, we are subject to the law of gravity and therefore have the same instinctive perception of numbers and values as the rest of the creatures. Our bodies are made of the same atoms and particles that everything in the universe is made of. Consequently, we exhibit behavior that harmonizes with the mechanism of this entity and we use the same simple laws and equations that make up everything. These relationships that connect the particles with each other and with the whole, as already mentioned, can be described mathematically, through numbers and shapes."
